A young boy woke up one morning to find the tooth fairy had left him a castle and several estates under his pillow.

George, seven, lost several teeth but looked forward to a visit from the tooth fairy, perhaps hoping to find a coin with a picture of his great-granny on one side.

But instead, he was delighted to find a massive castle and lands beyond his wildest dreams.

Children’s fairytale author Lorraine Fisher, 34, explained: “It’s a lovely story, but don’t believe everything you read.

“There is no such thing as the tooth fairy. And there is no need to feel bad about that – this boy will soon be left more than one castle anyway.”
