Money-saving experts say you should withdraw your cash from the bank and take it home in a wheelbarrow.
Then begin burning it in the fireplace to make your home toasty warm.
Home finance expert Lorraine Fisher, 34, said: “Gas is now in short supply and the prices will soon be unaffordable anyway.
“With rising inflation, your cash savings are increasingly worthless, so save yourself some bother and keep warm by burning it.”
